Friedens Forum is a magazine of the German Peace Movement and the current August/September issue devotes twenty-five pages to a wide-range of articles by American activists on the Peace Movement in the USA. The editors introduce this special section by reminding their readers that social movements have a history in the US and refer to the Civil Rights Movement as well as the Anti-Vietnam War Movement and how they influenced real change in society.
