Guilliana Sgrena, the Italian journalist whose release after a month in captivity in Iraq was overshadowed by the killing of the Italian intelligence agent Nicola Calipari by American soldiers near a security checkpoint in Baghdad, wrote for the daily newspaper Il Manifesto. Here at
